NUCLEAR WEAPONS

A nuclear weapon is an explosive device that derives its destructive force from nuclear reactions either fission or combination of both fission and fussion.. Both reactions release vast quantities of energy from relatively small amounts of matter..                                                      

As of 2014 only 2 nuclear weapons have beeen used in the cause of warfare...both times by the united states near the end of world war II. on 6th august 1945 a uranium gun type fission bomb code-named ``little boy``  was donated over the japanese city of hiroshima three days later on august 9th a plutonium implosion type fission bomb code-named ``fat man`` was exploded over the japanese city of nagasaki ... These 2 bombings resulted in the death of aproximately 200,000 civilians and military personel..
